This Privacy Policy explains how NovaSoft ("we", "us"), operated from Pakistan by Muhammad Hussnain, collects, uses and protects personal information when you use novasoftapps.com, our software, our AI website builder, the websites and online stores our customers create with it, and our WhatsApp AI Agent at app.novasoftapps.com (together, the "Services").
1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT
a) Account information: your name, email address, phone or WhatsApp number and password (stored only in encrypted/hashed form). We also keep a record of logins and security codes sent to you.
b) Orders and payments: what you bought, the amount, order status and payment reference. Card payments are processed by Safepay. We never see or store your full card number, CVV or banking password. For bank transfer, JazzCash or Easypaisa payments you may send us a transaction ID or receipt so we can verify the payment.
c) Software licenses: for Nova POS we store the Computer ID you submit and your license details so the license can be activated and checked.
d) Website builder content: business name, business type, text, services, products, prices, photos, logo, address, timings, contact details, domain and hosting choices that you enter. This content is used to build and show your website.
e) Messages from your website visitors: if you turn on the contact or booking form on a website made with our builder, the visitor's name, phone, email, preferred date and message are stored on our server and emailed to you. For these messages, you (the website owner) decide why the data is collected; we process it only to deliver it to you.
f) Chatbots: messages typed into the chat assistant on novasoftapps.com, or into the AI chatbot on a customer's website, are sent to an AI provider to generate an answer. A customer website chatbot uses the website owner's own AI key; that key is kept on our server and is never placed inside the website files.
g) WhatsApp AI Agent: when a person messages a business that uses our AI Agent, we receive the message, their phone number and WhatsApp profile name through Meta's WhatsApp Business Platform. We store conversations and lead details (such as name, interest and budget) so the business can see them. Alert settings (a support WhatsApp number and email) are stored to send the business owner alerts.
h) Contact and support: messages you send us by email, WhatsApp or the contact form.
i) Technical information: IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited and the time of visits, used for security, preventing abuse and improving the website. Our servers keep standard access logs.
2. HOW WE USE INFORMATION
We use information only to:
- provide, operate and secure the Services (accounts, orders, downloads, licenses, websites, chatbots, AI replies, alerts);
- verify payments and deliver what you purchased;
- send service emails such as verification codes, receipts, order updates and important notices;
- answer support requests;
- prevent fraud, spam and misuse, and enforce our terms;
- improve our products;
- comply with law.
We do not sell your personal information.
3. SERVICE PROVIDERS WE SHARE DATA WITH
We share only the data needed for each purpose with trusted providers:
- Hostinger (server hosting);
- Cloudflare (website security, captcha "Turnstile" and performance);
- Safepay (card payments, Pakistan);
- Email service used to send verification codes and notifications;
- AI providers that generate text and replies, such as Groq and Google (Gemini). Text you or your customers type is sent to them only to produce an answer;
- Meta / WhatsApp (to send and receive WhatsApp messages for AI Agent customers);
- Google (search, YouTube and, where shown, advertising - see section 5).
We may also disclose information if required by Pakistani law, a court order or a lawful request by authorities, or to protect our rights and the safety of users.
4. COOKIES AND LOCAL STORAGE
We use necessary cookies to keep you logged in, protect forms (security token) and remember settings. Websites created with our builder use the browser's local storage only to remember the shopping cart. We do not use cookies to sell your data.
5. ADVERTISING
Some free pages on novasoftapps.com may show ads from Google. Google and its partners may use cookies to show ads based on your visits to this and other websites. You can manage personalised advertising at https://adssettings.google.com.
6. HOW LONG WE KEEP DATA
- Account, order and license records: while your account is active and as long as needed for tax, accounting and legal reasons.
- Website builder content and website form messages: while your account or website project exists, or until you ask us to delete it.
- WhatsApp AI Agent conversations: while the business account is active; the business can delete conversations or the whole business at any time.
- Server logs: normally a few weeks.
7. SECURITY
We use HTTPS encryption, hashed passwords, email verification codes, two-step verification for administrators, captcha protection, access controls and regular backups. No system is 100% secure, so please use a strong password and never share your login codes.
8. YOUR CHOICES AND RIGHTS
You can ask us to show, correct or delete your personal information, or to close your account, by contacting us on WhatsApp 0336-1594066 or through the Contact page. We will reply within a reasonable time (normally within 30 days). We may keep some records where the law requires it (for example payment records).
WhatsApp AI Agent customers can delete their business and all its data from the dashboard. People who messaged a business that uses our AI Agent can ask that business, or us, to delete their data.
9. CHILDREN
Our Services are meant for businesses and adults. They are not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
10. WEBSITES OF OUR CUSTOMERS
Websites and online stores made with our builder belong to our customers and are hosted on their own hosting. Each website owner is responsible for how they use the orders and messages they receive and for their own privacy notice.
11. CHANGES
We may update this policy when our Services change. The date at the top shows the latest version. Important changes will be announced on the website.
